Hello, friends.
For those in the U.K., it appears that "Falling Darkness," the 4th and last new episode of the current (4th) series of LEWIS, will air on ITV 1 on Sunday, May 30th starting at 8:00 PM (originally slated for May 23rd, it apparently got bumped by "Britain's Got Talent"). Immediately thereafter, it should be available online on ITV Player for several weeks (U.K. viewers only, alas).
The complete Series 4 of LEWIS is scheduled for release on Region 2 DVD on May 31; there are currently two short promotional videos at amazon.co.uk, the first of which include clips of RG in interview and in action in his role as "an alcoholic Oxfordian."
Here in the U.S., PBS will air "Falling Darkness" on September 19th. (Unfortunately, PBS trims 10' off of each 90' episode of LEWIS - retitled INSPECTOR LEWIS here - and even issues the abridged version on domestic DVD.)
I hope this finds each of you well.
With best wishes to all,
Nick D.

Re: LEWIS: Falling Darkness
Hello, friends.
For those of you who've seen or are planning to see the episode of (Inspector) Lewis titled "Falling Darkness," in which RG plays Alec Pickman, you might enjoy the review posted at http://www.tv.com/lewis/falling-darkness/episode/1339969/reviews.html. The writer, who obviously knows mystery and horror literature and filmography in depth, details the many references to famous stories in the characters' names. Informative and fun, and also helps illuminate some of the more bizarre plot twists.
Best wishes to all,
Nick D.
